Architecture is the motivating idea behind my structure series. I am inspired by the urban setting and the buildings on the rural landscape. Each piece is undertaken in the manner of a swift sketch using steel cut offs and discards from my furniture making process. I am interested in a playful interchange of colors, forms, shapes, and negative space.
